About Namaste Mindfulness
Namaste Mindfulness is a culturally adapted 6-Week mindfulness programme developed to improve access to mental wellbeing support for Nepali and Maithili- speaking communities, where language and cultural barriers can make mainstream services less accessible.
In this 6-week group or individual programme you will lean the key principles and practices of not only reducing stress but also building inner strength that future stressors have less impact on your happiness and physical wellbeing. Most importantly, Namaste Mindfulness can help you cope with stress, anxiety, as well as depression by developing a new level of awareness of:
- the thoughts that trigger the stress response
- the emotions (yours and others’) that can bubble into conflict
- the physical signs that your body is in distress
- the behaviours that might be contributing to heightened stress as well as those that help you relax
Delivered entirely online, this six-week group programme provides a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where mindfulness practices are tailored to your individual needs, goals, life circumstances, and pace of learning.
Unlike standard group-based mindfulness courses, each session offers dedicated time for guided mindfulness practice, discussion, reflection, and personalised support to help you develop practical skills that can be integrated into your daily life.
